Please Complete Your 2020 Census Today
Once a year, Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control, in ​Palm Beach County residents should have received their invitation to complete the 2020 Census questionnaire. All residents are urged to complete the questionnaire as soon as they can.
Palm Beach County Resilience Director to Serve on Florida Advisory Council on Climate and Energy
Palm Beach County Office of Resilience Director Megan Houston has been appointed to the newly formed Florida Advisory Council on Climate and Energy (FACCE) launched by Florida Department of Agriculture and Consumer Services Commissioner Nikki Fried.  Director Houston will serve as a county representative on the 26-person committee.

County's Water Safe for Consumption No Shortage of Supply
The Palm Beach County Water Utilities Department (PBCWUD) drinking water is safe from contamination of the COVID-19 virus. Furthermore, PBCWUD customers will experience no shortage of potable water supplies should the spread of the illness further impact Palm Beach County.
Library System Offers Big Print Books for Children and Teens
The Palm Beach County Library System’s Children & Teens Services section has a new big print books collection in the Juvenile Fiction and Young Adult sections. While big print and standard print books look the same from the outside, they are different on the inside. Big print books are a similar size and weight as standard print editions, but they have a larger font size, fewer words and lines per page and clearer contrast between text and the background of the paper.

As COVID-19 concerns rise, Palm Beach County Animal Care and Control has implemented new protocols and limited services to the public in an attempt to keep pets and pet owners in the community safe and mitigate exposure. These new changes went
into effect Monday, March 23.
