A delightful program of worship and praise will be live-streamed at 7pm on Saturday, October 3, featuring Rishama children, as well as worship bands from several local churches. The hour-long live-stream can be viewed "in person" with social distancing at Oreland Evangelical Presbyterian Church, 1119 Church Road, Oreland. The livestream will be available for home viewing on Facebook, Youtube or Instagram at @Rishama.International.

Construction update

Praise God for continuing progress on the huge boys' hostel construction project! The roof was to actually go up this past Monday.

Foundations for the second classroom building are underway. This building will add six much-needed classrooms to Faith and Hope Academy!

COVID-19 school opening update

School opening dates have been staggered according to students' grade. The two oldest classes in the secondary school as well as the oldest class in the primary school were to begin classes this past Monday. The remaining grades will resume in September.

Praise Items:

God has faithfully supplied for July monthly operating expenses through special donations.
No known COVID-19 cases.

Prayer Requests:

Health and safety for children and staff.
Rishama has applied for Operation Christmas Child gift boxes through Samaritan's Purse. Please pray that the application will be accepted for this Christmas!
For the success of the "Faith and Hope for Nigeria" fundraiser on October 3rd.
That God will provide for the operating budget through orphan sponsorship. Twenty of the 120 orphans are currently sponsored.
