Will Ridge, former top-ranked head of South African equity sales at Bank of America Merrill Lynch, is launching a market-neutral strategy, tapping into his extensive experience of the local market and competing asset management offerings.  He believes his successful background in sell-side idea generation for the asset management industry will stand him in good stead in running his own portfolio.

His model portfolios have performed well over time, specifically on a risk-adjusted basis. He will make use of Fairtree’s internal research franchise as well as his extensive network across the market, both on the corporate and sell side.  Read more
