U.S. Elections Data

The UVA Library has acquired a license for Dave Leip's Atlas of U.S. Elections Data. These highly-detailed  data sets include the total electoral vote, total popular vote, party share, and candidate vote by state, county, and town. The Library currently provides access to  Presidential Election Data from 1972-2016 (latest release was January 27, 2017); U.S. Senate Election Data from 2008-2016 (last updated December 27, 2016) ; House Election Data U.S. House of Representatives Election Data  from 2000-2014; and the U.S. Gubernatorial Election Data from 2008-2016 (last updated December 21, 2016). This is a great resource for research, teaching, and data fun!
