Gallup Survey Data

UVA Library now offers Gallup Panel survey data tracking American attitudes on topics related to COVID-19. The surveys were conducted with the nationally representative Gallup Panel in the US. The survey covers March 2020 - August 2021. Contact data@virginia.edu for more information on how to access the dataset.

Python Users Group

RDS hosted a Python Charlottesville (PyCHO) python users meetup in Brown Science and Engineering Library earlier this month. This was the first that PyCHO had hosted in person since before the pandemic. Attendees were invited to speak about any Python related project they are currently working on for school, work, or just for fun. Presentations were given on topics ranging from web development, programmable microcontrollers, marketing, and Python performance built-ins. Depending on the COVID situation, Research Data Services hopes to host more in-person meetups in the future!

To see more about this meeting and view future events, visit the PyCHO meetup page: https://www.meetup.com/PythonCharlottesville/
