Richard Alston Workshop Opportunity
Don't miss out on this opportunity to take part in a 3 hour creative class, lead by the Richard Alston Dance Company outreach team. The workshop will be pitched at confident students, professional dance artists/ leaders and teachers. The session will take place on the 8th March from 1.30 – 4.30pm, and will be held at Exeter College.

Training Opportunities – Working with a Photographer & PR Skills
A practical workshop with experienced dance photographer, Kevin Clifford. You will have an opportunity to discuss and try out ideas for creating great shots of your work. Tips on how to best communicate your ideas to a photographer and make the most of a photographic opportunity.
Sharing Stories - making the most of PR opportunities
Find out how to make the most of your PR opportunities with artist and PR specialist Gillian Taylor. Learn what makes a good news story, how to attract journalists and communicate your messages effectively for a range of audiences. Explore the possibilities for gathering visual content for your story. During a practical exercise, you will get help and advice to write a press release for media or online.

Dance In Devon organises an exciting ‘Big Dance’ Event!
Dance in Devon are co-ordinating an event for the ‘Big Dance’ on 20th May! Come and join us to learn Akram Khan’s 3-minute choreography with Anna Leatherdale on Thursday 14th April, from 4pm-7pm here at Dartington Space. We will learn the choreography then have a chance for a bit of local networking over tea and home-made cake. Call out for Performers for Scratch Stream in Exeter
Unique opportunity for dance artists / groups to perform at a Scratch event at Exeter Phoenix which will be live streamed online by Arts View Live. Arts View Live specialise in live streaming, making the most of the quality and talent in the UK arts scene with a new way of getting live work to a new digital savvy audience.
This callout is for dance artists / groups who have work that they would like to share online via live streaming. This project would also suit those who have work in progress which they would like feedback on, artists who are interested in having a critical dialogue or those with international connections or with an interest in developing an online portfolio. Those artists/ groups selected to perform at the scratch events would also be able to access free rehearsal space through Dance in Devon’s 'Space to Play' project.

Hofesh Schecter Company Class
Dance in Devon are working with Theatre Royal Plymouth to offer a dynamic and exhilarating workshop with Hofesh Schecter Company. This class will be held in the Exeter College CCI theatre space, on 28th April from 7-9pm. The class will be aimed at professionals, graduates, confident students and is a great CPD opportunity for dance teachers.
