This is always a busy and exciting season in New Castle County. We've planned some great family events and activities along with informational seminars to help you be a more informed and engaged resident. You can click on the photos below to get more details on each item. Feel free to reach out to my office and let us know what you think of the programs and what you'd like to see, do, or know about in the future.

Items of Interest

I come across things from time to time that are not necessarily County related but, they are really interesting or informative. One is the Delaware Unclaimed Property site where you can search on your name and find out if there is any unclaimed property or monies owed to you. Click HERE to search for unclaimed property or call the Delaware Department of Finance, Office of Unclaimed Property at 855-505-7520 or email . The other is the Office of the Ombudsman for the Common Interest Community. This is probably the most valuable contact your Maintenance Corporation or HOA can have. The General Assembly created the office to be a resource for your community. Check out some of these topics that are on their website:
Collecting delinquent assessments without hiring a Lawyer
Information for Homeowners & Associations
