School is open and classes are in session. Using woodworking to reinforce education, clear the mind and provide benefits for generations to come.
wortheffort woodworking - learn, create, share
Help us launch strong so we can expand to offer more educational opportunities to you.

Any businesses first few months are critical. This one is no exception. Started without bank financing, we always knew this would be a risky proposition with nominal promise of return. But the dream persisted and the belief that woodworking is an excellent opportunity to solidify education, stimulate imagination and provide a lifetime of benefits has propelled us forward. That being said, if we can show financial institutions the need for the type of teen and adult education this school offers we should qualify for the SBA startup programs and be able to quickly expand to offer additional classes in carving, intarsia, scroll work, turning and framing.

You could help us out immensely by forwarding this newsletter on to parents of teens, retirees, or anyone you believe might be interested in beginning to advanced level courses in woodworking.

Thanks All, your help is much appreciated.

Teen Woodworking Classes

Teen Classes

Education to reinforce academia: Our afternoon classes go much farther than simple woodworking lessons. Coming from 7 years of High School teaching I firmly plan on using this fun, engaging activity to reinforce academia in biology, science, math, social studies and even history.
Shaker Side Table Class in September

Shaker Table

Our 1st Project Class: This September will be our first major project class, a simple side table with drawer commonly associated with Shaker style. Limited spots are available. Take the class and build your own for less than you could buy it!
