Number of Employees: 45
Product/Service: Newspaper, Business Magazine, Digital Platform, Advertising, Commercial Print

Milton "Kickingbird" Reynolds chose to establish a newspaper in Edmond in 1890 because he felt the town would soon thrive and would need a form of communication. Today, The Edmond Sun is the oldest continuously publishing newspaper in Oklahoma.

Over its 125 years of publication, the newspaper has evolved into both a newspaper and an E-edition; a monthly business magazine, The Business Times; a monthly community product, Community Connection; a Newcomer's Guide; and several special sections and community resources published throughout the year. The company also has a strong online presence as well as a growing social media following.

The Edmond Sun is committed to Edmond and hopes to grow as the city grows. With a newly expanded press to increase color capacity, the company continues to improve its ability to educate, entertain and inform.
