Best of Books is a family-owned bookstore that has been located in Edmond for more than 30 years. Owners Nan Hight, Joe Hight, and Elena Hight feel Edmond is a city that encourages community among its residents and promotes quality of life.

Every year, Best of Books donates thousands of dollars' worth of new books to Edmond Public Schools. These funds are generated through sales of required reading books on Schedule Pick Up Day at participating schools. The store recently introduced another way to get books into schools, Bodacious BOB's Book Drive. The book drive donates new books to a school each month.

Best of Books was recently named Best Bookstore by The Edmond Sun and Edmond Life & Leisure and was a finalist for Best Bookstore in The Oklahoman and OKC Gazette.

Future goals including adding a coffee bar and expanding services, such as providing space for hosting birthday parties and offering book editing to authors. Best of Books encourages customer feedback, so the store can continue to grow with its customer base.

Best of Books will always strive to maintain its excellent customer service, knowledgeable staff, and community involvement.
