Flatire Burgers

Date Established:  July 2005
Number of Employees: 35
Product/Service: Restaurant

Michael and Lory Jones have lived in Edmond for more than 25 years, raising three children and opening two restaurants in the community. Sixteen years ago, the couple opened Lottinvilles and in July of 2005, they opened Flatire Burgers.

Flatire Burgers has locations at 318 E. Ayers and at 100 N. University St., in the University of Central Oklahoma Nigh University Center. The casual dining restaurant's menu includes burgers, tacos, fried pickles, green chili fries and more. Flatire recently added a full bar, which includes drinks like watermelon margaritas.

Diners eating on Flatire's patio are welcome to bring their dogs. The restaurant even greets them with treats and water.

The Joneses have always been involved in the community, Edmond Public Schools and the University of Central Oklahoma. And while they would love to have more Flatires open in other parts of the state, Edmond will always be home.
