The Patriarch owners felt Downtown Edmond was a special place that needed somewhere for people to spend time together in the heart of the community. The ideology "Community Through Beer" defines everything they do.
In February 2016, The Patriarch was nominated as a Best Small Scale Redevelopment Project at Urban Land Institute Oklahoma's Impact Awards. The business was started with the intent to offer a gathering place for the community and the owners' wildest dreams have been surpassed.
The goal of The Patriarch has always been - and will continue to be - to make the community a better, stronger place. The owners want to promote and encourage local breweries. Every single product served at The Patriarch is made in America, with a major emphasis on Oklahoma made products. The owners also want to be a support network for employees, helping them obtain their personal and professional goals.
