Alvarado's Mexican Restaurant

Date Established: OKC Location: December 1989;
Edmond Location: February 1996

Number of Employees: 25
Product/Service: Mexican Food Restaurant

Alvarado's Mexican Restaurant opened its doors at 119th St. and S. Western in Oklahoma City approximately 25 years ago. In 1996, Carlos Alvarado and his family decided it was time to open a second location. Alvarado and his wife had lived in Edmond since 1991 and loved the community. So a restaurant close to home was the natural choice.

After approximately 18 years at their location on 2nd St., Alvarado's recently moved to 2805 S. Broadway. The new location offers an expanded bar area, allowing customers to eat, drink and watch the game. And Alvarado's continues to offer fresh made tortillas.

Voted as The Best Mexican Food by Edmond Life & Leisure, the restaurant's goal is to provide customers with the freshest taste in Mexican food combined with quality service for a great dining experience.
