Newsflash: April 2015

Dear colleagues,
I was delighted to recently catch up with many of our partners and supporters at the seafood show in Boston, where we also held our annual Americas update and showcased our new film about helping transform aquaculture in the State of Rio de Janeiro. The update meeting was a great opportunity to discuss the commitments and achievements that drive change and reduce the negative impacts of aquaculture. And, the expert panel enthusiastically debated how producers are improving their performance and the role of the supply chain to help drive this change.

As the year progresses, the ASC programme continues to gaining momentum! We now have more than 2,500 ASC certified products available and almost 150 certified farms, now including our first ASC certified bivalves.
I look forward to seeing many of you in Brussels. Please drop by our booth, 2053 hall 7.
