I am honoured and huphoto of Jane Graydonmbled to serve you as President of our globally recognized, award-winning chapter, as of March 1, 2021. I am grateful for the great leadership of my predecessor Barb Rosen Schreiber and the entire Board and volunteers who addressed the many challenges of the pandemic with creativity and compassion.

ICF Toronto is impactful, thanks to the dedicated service and passion embodied by our membership. What you may not know is how much work goes on behind the scenes in order to support our 900 members and our community. We are looking for members who want to contribute their talents to support our ambitious strategy and growing community. You will have a chance to get to know other wonderful coaches, learn and make a big difference. There are many different ICF Toronto volunteer opportunities now available to support Marketing and Communications, Conference, Programming (including Director) and Events, Membership Engagement, and Community Outreach (including International Coaching Week) for this coming year. Media Magnet: How to Get Great PR and Grow Your Business

CEO of Human Resources Professionals Association (ON)

Louise describes herself as “passionate about high-performance HR” and over the past 25 years, she’s worked in diverse industries like aviation, banking, insurance, healthcare and professional regulation. In her ‘day job’ Louise is the CEO of the HRPA – the professional regulatory association for HR in Ontario. Louise is also a coach and started her own coaching and consulting business back in 2014.

Louise will share some of her insights about being a Chief Human Resources Officer and what those experiences have taught her. There will be important insights for coaches who want to influence and partner with HR departments and why HR sometimes says “no”, and possible strategies to help shift that mindset.

Louise will share her perspectives on the complexities and challenges facing organizations from an HR point of view and where coaching may fit.

Upcoming Joint Webinar series hosted by ICF and ACMP Global

Through a new Global joint taskforce between ICF and the Association of Change Management Professionals (ACMP), we’re excited to announce a series of webinars: Leveraging the Power of Coaching & Change Management to Navigate Disruption. This FREE panel series will be led by experienced coaching and change management practitioners, as well as industry leaders, who will share how they leverage both disciplines with regards to four unique topics to navigate the disruptions and create resilience and meaningful change.

The first webinar in the series will take place on March 17, 2021, at 12 noon EST (New York) on the topic of Social Justice. The panel for this series includes ICF members Latise Hairston, PCC, and Sharlyn Turner-Bryant, ACC, as well as June Jimenez and Tim Morton.
