CCI launches it's Sponsorship Programme!

For over 10 years, CCI has been assisting child victims of indentured slavery in India. Before their release, these children worked on average over fourteen hours per day in inhumane conditions. Through school enrollment and support during their academic years, we give them the chance to realise their dream:  i.e. to be free and independent.
Help us break the cycle of poverty and keep children safe from exploitation!

Through a sponsorship plan starting at $ 40 per month, which is slightly over $ 1 a day, you allow a child to have access to a quality education.

To learn more about our Sponsorship Programme, please read our Sponsorship Guide.
World Day Against Child Labour

Two lectures will be given by Roxana Robin, founder of CCI and Sylvain Filion, founder of TEAM.  Moreover, there will also be a documentary film shown at that time, plus a photo exhibit.

We hope to see you there! For more information

*Officially, World Day against Child Labour is on June 12.

The invisible girls
At the end of April 2014, the Royal Canadian Mounted Police (RCMP) released some general information on the plight of aboriginal girls and women. More than 1,186 aboriginal women and girls have been murdered or are missing in Canada, namely hundreds more than was previously estimated. However, the Federal Government still refuses to authorise a public inquiry on this crisis.   To learn more

Global Slavery Index
Each year, Walk Free's Global Slavery Index produces a detailed global picture of available statistics concerning enslaved people. The Index also identifies factors that shed light on the risk of modern slavery in each country, and examines the strength of government responses in tackling this issue. To learn more
