Mustang Mixer & Silent Auction Fundraiser

Saturday, April 5, 2014

SAVE THE DATE! The TJHS Alumni Association will be having our 2014 Spring Mustang Mixer and Silent Auction. The mixer will be at Fatso's, and the auction will be online.

Invite a friend and spread the word to help us create a scholarship fund for graduating seniors and alumni and to support the Mustang Family!

Silent Auction

We are gathering donations for the Spring Silent Auction. Our most recent donation to the auction is a San Antonio Spurs Autographed Basketball. If you would like to donate an item or service to the Silent Auction, please email


Brisket Plate Sale

We are selling Brisket Plates as part of our fundraiser. Our plates will be $7 and will include brisket, beans, and potato salad plus the trimmings. If you dine-in, you'll also receive a 16 oz. tea. If you would like a plate, please email us with the number of plates you want to purchase. We'll begin selling tickets soon.

2014 Fiesta Medal

We will be taking orders soon for our 2014 Fiesta Medal. Each medal will be $8. Proceeds from our 2014 Fiesta Medal will help build the TJHSAA Scholarship Fund. We will only have a limited number of medals, so you will want to pre-order yours. If you are interested in purchasing a Fiesta Medal, please email

We would like to thank the Class of 1967 for sponsoring the 2014 Fiesta Medal. As a brand new organization, our funds are limited. With this sponsorship, we will be able to manufacture our 2014 Fiesta Medal in time for distribution at the Mustang Mixer and Silent Auction.

Rudy Mendez, Jr. (Class of 1985)

Tammy Elizondo Mendez has requested Get Well Wishes for her husband Rudy, who is going through medical issues. Rudy has been battling Leukemia since November of 2012 and is now battling Pneumonia. Tammy shared that Rudy is a "true Mustang fan and supporter." The family would appreciate your support for "TEAM RUDY."

Richard "Anthony" Guerrero

Richard "Anthony" Guerrero went missing on Sunday, January 12, 2014 at 11:00 a.m. from Culebra Road and 1604, San Antonio, Texas. Anthony is a 20 year old Hispanic male with brown hair, brown eyes, weighs 160 pounds and is 5'8" tall. Anthony was last seen wearing a green thermal long-sleeve shirt, blue jeans, and a black watch. He was driving in a teal green 1994 Chevy S10 with a black ladder rack. He was known to hang out at the Fitness 19 Gym on 1604 and Braun Road.
