• Odessa Spring Brake & Axle- Recognized along with others for their service during a 79th anniversary were three longtime employees. Service Manager Jack Reynolds, 60 years of service; Office Manager Barbara Budd, 45 years of service; and President and GM Jerry R Hanks, 40 years of service. They have two locations, Second Street and Dixie Boulevard, there are 32 service bays making it uniquely giant among other parts and services suppliers in the United States.
• Stonegate Fellowship Church- The new church held its first service
July 30th in advance of its August 20th grand opening. The 35,000-square-foot complex will seat 450 in the sanctuary and have room in the children’s area to 200-250 from birth through the sixth grade.
• Odessa Christian Faith Center- Permit issued 7/18/17, 9000 Andrews Hwy., new church, $16,609,000.
• Warren Cat- Permit issued 7/27/2017, 2301 Production St., parts warehouse expansion.
• Caldera I Bobcat, LLC- Permit issued 7/05/17, 1251 S. JBS Pkwy, new shop and office, $450,000.
• Texas Department of Public Safety- The new facility at 2800 Wright Drive opened 7/31/17. The 17,000 SF facility features 16 work stations and new technology for more efficient services. The facility also offers knowledge and driving skills testing for commercial driver license applicants. A queuing system will allow customers to remotely secure a spot in line before arriving at the office.
