Editor's Arts and Culture Picks
Monday–Wednesday (Nov 7–9)
Let’s be honest, this election year has left us all depressed, exhausted, and downright terrified. Tomorrow night it all comes to an end and (hopefully) we’re not talking about the end of the world. You can gather amongst friends and allies to watch the election results roll in at home or throughout the city. Our top election screening events and parties include a SWEET Election Night at The Slipper Room with Seth Herzog and friends, a screening party at Videology, a political pie buffet at Elsewhere, and a Pro Hillary edition of Daybreaker. On a lighter note, tickets are on sale for a throwback edition of Little Cinema’s immersive screening of The Fifth Element, and Mixpak takes over The Museum of Natural History this weekend. There are still a handful of tickets on sale to catch a Seu Jorge tribute to David Bowie, and be sure to catch a play written by Flavorwire’s own Moze Halperin: Lucy in Limbo at Knockdown Center.
