Jane Harper - The Survivors

FANZA - Book of the Season

A Sunday Times and Times Best Book of 2021.

'With The Survivors, Jane Harper proves she's unquestionably the real deal' - Val McDermid

A sunken wreck, a missing girl, and questions that have never washed away. When a body is discovered on a Tasmanian beach, long-held secrets threaten to emerge in the murder investigation that follows.

As ever, Jane Harper's skilful ability to create a landscape that plays a central part in the plot ensures this is another tour de force. Highly recommended.

Rose Matafeo - Baby Done

Having a kid is the death of a certain kind of life

Since taking the top award at the 2018 Edinburgh fringe with her show Horndog, 28-year-old New Zealand standup Rose Matafeo has been unstoppable, even during a pandemic. Baby Done, her first big-screen starring role is now out on digital platforms. In addition, a TV special of Horndog airs on BBC Three in March while Starstruck, a BBC and HBO series, is due to launch later this year. Discover more about this quirky, progressive comedian - or just curl up on the sofa and enjoy her compulsively affable performance as reluctant mother in the romcom.
