March 2014 News & Events at The Craft Factory

Weekly Friday Morning Storytime + Craft

Friday, March 7 @ 10:30
Friday, March 14 @ 10:30
Friday, March 21 @ 10:30
Friday, March 28 @ 10:30

Please join us every Friday morning at 10:30 a.m. for a storytime and craft. The storytime is free for all ages, though geared toward toddler and preschoolers. From 10:30-11, we offer a storytime craft special: $5 for two ornamental craft bases. If your child would like to do something other than the ornamental craft, they are welcome to choose a regularly-priced ($12) base.

The books we read each week are on loan from Annie Bloom's Books, right next door. Stop on by to see these and other great titles!

First Friday in Multnomah Village

Friday, March 7 | 5 p.m.-8 p.m.

We're open late for crafts and treats as we participate in Multnomah Village's First Friday of the month tradition. Special: Only $10 per crafter tonight - and the treats are free! (One base only; each additional base is $6.)

The Craft Factory at Hayhurst's
Annual Spring Craft Fair

Saturday, March 8 | 9 a.m.-4 p.m.

While we will still be open at the shop for drop-in crafting, you can also join us at Hayhurst today, where we will have a craft-making booth at their annual craft fair.  All ages are welcome!

Grandparents Day!

Saturday, March 15 | 10 a.m.-2 p.m.

Join us on the third Saturday of every month to celebrate that special bond between the generations. We are offering a two-for-one craft special for grandparents joining us with their grandchildren. Both of you can make a craft while you're here!

BYOB Adult Craft Night

Friday, March 21 | 6 p.m.-9 p.m.

You can be a big kid, too! Grab your favorite bottle to imbibe, your date for the night, or a group of your friends, and head on over to The Craft Factory for a Friday night of old-skool crafting fun. Choose one of our crafts or bring one of your own for only $12.

Spring Break at The Craft Factory

March 24-28

The Ellie Fund

Share the Joy of Crafting

A very generous gift has been given to The Craft Factory to begin a sponsorship fund for children whose families need monetary assistance in bringing them in to craft.

Stay tuned for more details on how to donate to The Ellie Fund. The fund is named for the girl who collected the first donation as part of her birthday party (pictured above). Thank you, Ellie, for inspiring this!
