Historic Weekend for Castleman Disease!
During this historic weekend event, the world's 25 top Castleman disease experts congregated to establish the first-ever, international diagnostic criteria for Castleman Disease. This uniform criteria will help doctors identify and  diagnose patients more quickly.
On Friday evening the 1st annual gala was attended by over 200 supporters including physicians, patients, loved ones, and Philadelphia community members. The evening was a huge success, and through sponsorships and donations the CDCN was able to raise more than the intended goal of $75,000. Click here to watch the
CDCN Co-founder, Dr. David Fajgenbaum's speech at this historic event. Click here to watch our Guest Speaker: Mileva Repasky, mother of our youngest CD warrior.

2015 Patient Summit:
Beating Castleman's Together

The second annual Beating Castleman's Together Patients & Loved Ones Summit in Orlando, Florida was another huge success!  Sponsored by Janssen Pharmaceuticals, the event involved patients from around the world, physicians, researchers, loved ones, and members of the CDCN team coming together to connect and learn about their disease, up-to-date research, and ways to join the fight to advance research and treatments.  Kim Driscoll received the 2015 Jim Johnston Castleman Warrior Award for her continued role in helping to find a cure for the disease that took her young daughter's life. We recognized her selfless dedication to the Castleman disease community and her impact on the lives of patients and their families.  Visit Kim's Warrior Page by clicking here

Castleman's picked the wrong people to mess with:
These Warriors are Fighting back!

Beating Castleman disease will take a team effort from every patient and loved one. This year, 15 patients and loved ones joined the Castleman Warrior program to help take down this disease.  Together, these warriors were able to raise over $60,000 in support of research, raise awareness in their local communities, and support one another. The Warrior program is a vital aspect of the CDCN and with the continued support of these warriors and their families we hope to make even greater strides in funding and research in 2016.
