Landscape Invaders: Ornamental Problem Plants and Native Alternatives

Learn how to identify the invasives common to our area as well as those just moving in. Clair Ryan, of the Midwest Invasive Plant Network, based out of the Morton Arboretum, will recommend strategies for controlling invasives. Steps vary according to distribution.  You’ll also get suggestions for planting attractive, ecologically beneficial native plants in the spaces you’ve cleared. Learn more.

Open for Orders Now

The fall sale features canopy trees (taller species), understory trees, and shrubs. Ceate a layered landscape that offers interest and wildlife support throughout the year. Pre-order by September 24. Pickup is September 30, 9 a.m. - 1p.m. at the Euclid Methodist Church parking lot in Oak Park. Wild Ones members save 10 percent.
