We’re excited to offer this free presentation on how to add natives to your garden. It includes many beautiful examples of gardens Kelsay has worked on for his clients at Possibility Place, our native plant sale supplier.

Kelsay is a botanist and sales consultant. He has a B.S. in botany from Eastern Illinois University and has been doing work in the industry for the past 17 years.  He has taught classes on native plants and their uses in landscaping, as well as consulting on larger projects for some of our clients.

Celebrate the urban conservation movement in one of the world’s most spectacular urban settings, Thursday, June 19. Join director Carey Lundin, WTTW program host and producer Geoffrey Baer, and planting designer of Chicago’s Lurie Garden, Piet Oudolf for the free Millennium Park premiere of “Jens Jensen The Living Green” (link to on The Screen at Pritzker Pavilion.

Dr. Porter is a professor of both Biology and Environmental Toxicology. He is also an invited affiliate faculty member of Engineering Physics at the University of Wisconsin, Madison.

Talk title: Biological effects of low level pesticide mixtures and other common chemical exposures.
