Today's hearings are a reminder of our task ahead: Elect a Pro-Second Amendment Minnesota House in 2014!
As I type this, hearings are underway on new gun control bills in both the Minnesota House Public Safety Committee and the Minnesota Senate Judiciary Committee.
Our friends at the Minnesota Gun Owners Civil Rights Alliance have been at the capitol all week working to protect our Second Amendment rights. Keep an eye on Facebook today for updates as the hearings unfold.
Today's hearings are a stark reminder of our task ahead: Electing a Pro-Second Amendment Minnesota House in 2014!
Think about what this could mean when the 2015 legislature takes office following a Pro-Second Amendment sweep in November:
- No more gun control bills like the ones being heard today
- Lifting of restrictions and gun-free zones where appropriate
- Consideration of civilian ownership of suppressors to help protect your hearing
- Use of force law reform, including "Stand your Ground" legislation
With a Pro-Second Amendment House in 2015, we won't have to trek down to the Minnesota Statehouse night after night for weeks on end to be criticized as law-abiding gun owners.
With your help, we can make this happen in November.
Here's the Minnesota Gun Owners PAC plan for electing a Pro-Second Amendment legislature in 2014:
- DEFEND pro-gun freedom-fighting incumbents throughout the state. Many of them will be facing a tough, uphill re-election battle - but we're going to be there to support them every inch of the way.
- ELECT a strong majority of pro-Second Amendment legislators that will vote to protect and expand our rights across the state. We want legislators that will vote against any infringement and introduce bills to expand your freedoms.
- GO ON THE OFFENSIVE against Minnesota's anti-gun media and activist groups that would try to limit your ability to exercise your constitutional rights.
- STOP BILLIONAIRE MICHAEL BLOOMBERG from using his billions of dollars to buy the Minnesota legislature and destroy our freedoms. We will expose candidates who take money from his organizations and rally gun owners on Election Day to defeat his hand-picked candidates.
