Countdown to Alaska 2018!

Hotel Information

We recommend coming into Seattle, Washington Friday or Saturday before departure day. It is not recommended to fly on Sunday morning due to circumstances that can arise (i.e., flight delays, cancellations). Many of us, including our team leaders, will be staying here. We welcome you to join us! Click here for flyer with more information.  Please book your room by August 7, 2018.  The hotel has secured a block of rooms until this date.

Service Projects

Our port coordinator, Vern Byrd, has been working with local entities at the ports in Alaska to find opportunities to serve the respective communities. Specific information for these projects are still being worked out and will be shared as soon as they are made available. Below, you will find general information as to the entities that we will be working with.

Juneau: SDA Adventist Church
Sitka: Waiting on details
Ketchikan: Boys & Girls Club; Homeless Shelter

Donations of basic needs items for the homeless shelter are welcomed. The storage space in the boat is very limited this year.  Because of this, if you desire to bring donations, we are requesting you keep them with you in your room to bring with you at our stop on Ketchikan.  Below a list of suggested items to bring.
  • Toothbrushes
  • Toothpaste
  • Soap
