Kids Summer Camp

This summer we are offering a week long half day summer camp located at Piedmont Farm Animal Refuge. Kids will get to learn about our residents and interact with them through educational games and activities. Journaling, arts and crafts, sports and other active games are just some of the activities we have planned. Each day camp attendees will also learn from certified cooking instructor Dillip Barman as he prepares healthy vegan lunches provided to each child. This camp is appropriate for children aged seven to twelve. Please contact us with any further questions at Hope to see you this summer!

Goats Find Refuge

This January we welcomed seven new goat arrivals to the Refuge! These 7 individuals were part of a nearly 200 animal rescue by Farm Sanctuary and other rescue groups. From a backyard butcher in New York state, the animals were very sick and terrified before being rescued. We are grateful to Farm Sanctuary for saving them. Please help us welcome our new goat residents!

Walk for the Animals!

Do you walk or run, and have an iOS or Android smartphone? If so, you can help raise funds for the animals of the Refuge when you use the free ResQwalk app! The ResQwalk mobile app tracks activity such as walking, running or biking, as long as the activity can be measured by GPS and involves a speed of less than 14 mph. Each month, ResQwalk will distribute funds to the Refuge based on miles walked. Download the app and get moving for farm animals today!
