Mooring Field

Choreography: Beau Hancock/Stone Depot
Performers: Marie Brown, Melissa Chisena
Music: _moonraker by Jason Carr and Kenneth Lay
Costumes: Patricia Dominguez

Mooring Field was made possible by a space grant by The Richard Stockton University of New Jersey, and with generous contributions from Stephen and Jennifer Hancock.

For his new dance Mooring Field, Beau Hancock found inspiration in the drifting rhythms of boats moored in Maine harbors. Dancers Marie Brown and Melissa Chisena complete the complex choreography without moving through space, tethered to a single spot. The work also includes a haunting new score from the duo _moonraker and cooly chic costumes from designer Patricia Dominguez.

(Originally premiered at Triskelion Arts in Brooklyn, NY in December 2013)

Choreography and Direction: Chris Masters, in collaboration with the original cast
Rehearsal Assistant: Kate Vincek
Performers: Roxanne Kidd, Nico Li, Joey Navarrete, Paul Vickers, Kate Vincek
Original Score: Jon Anderson
