As summertime is winding down to a close, things here at The Iron Factory are just starting afresh! Between Philly Fringe discounts, Philadelphia Open Studios Tour, and a few new faces, we've been working on some exciting changes that we can't wait to share with you. We'd like to thank Marketing + Development Coordinator Kat Sullivan for her dedication to TIF over the past year, and send her positive vibes as she jumps in to a new adventure.

September 2015 marks two years since The Iron Factory has opened. We are now in the process of bringing together The Iron Factory as a space, with artistic director Lora Allen's dance company; allendance as one entity. We've also embarked on a partnership with neighboring Norris Square Neighborhood Project, an arts and gardening organization, serving youth and adults in arts & gardening programs focused through the lens of Latino culture. As well as welcomed new administrative assistants Andalyn Young and Andy Thierauf to TIF!

Below you'll find the four amazing fringe arts shows being produced at The Iron Factory, we hope to see you there!
Leah Stein Dance Company presents Bellows Falls September 16th , 17th, 19th and 20th.

Leah Stein, joined by violinist Diane Monroe, presents a new site-work created for The Iron Factory space in homage to her father, Dale Stein, who died this year. This intimate performance integrates light, sound, movement, history and personal memory.

Olive Prince Dance presents Of Our Remnants September 9th , 10th and 12th.

An evening of dance that melds site-specific choreography and visual art to create a compelling environment where the dancers and audience co-exist.  The stage is set with a collection of chairs, empty frames, and abandoned lamps for a dance of expressive physicality and intimate connections to emerge.
Mondegreen Collective presents Capacity for Veracity September 4th , 5th, 6th and 14th.

Zip your lips, loosen your tongue, and unsettle in for an honest evening of brutal lies, frank back door encounters, clear ambiguity, civilized viciousness, and a resounding hush-hush...
Shannon + Katrina present Rude Beach September 3rd and 4th.

Equal parts adventure and love song, Rude Beach is a tall glass of your parents green shag carpet. Shannon + Katrina equals two fun and funny dancers making lovely and loveable dance from the comfort of your living room. Pull up a chair to the kids table with your new friends.
