It’s our pleasure to introduce how our server solutions can meet and solve your next business challenge – for high performance computing, cloud, and liquid cooling. Here's a short summary if you missed anything:

DNN Training Appliance
GIGABYTE’s DNN Training Appliance provides a complete hardware and software stack for DNN (Deep Neural Networks) training jobs, featuring a web-browser based interface. Users can import, convert and manage their dataset; design, train and evaluate different DNN models; and test their trained models with inferencing. Built on GIGABYTE’s G481-HA1 single root server with NVIDIA GPUs, the Appliance is fully optimized to reduce DNN training time and improve accuracy. Liquid Cooling
GIGABYTE has collaborated with different partners to provide our customers with a variety of liquid cooling solutions, such as direct-to-chip, one phase oil immersion and two phase liquid immersion cooling, to enable a better data center PUE and to break open the TDP limitation of air-cooled servers. At ISC High Performance 2019 we showcased GIGABYTE’s H261-Z60 equipped with direct to chip liquid cooling cold plate / loops designed for CoolIT’s Rack DCLC solutions, including the Rack DCLC AHx10, which can allow customers to deploy liquid cooled servers without the need to build the infrastructure to bring facility water to each rack. The system utilizes the existing air cooling infrastructure in the data center to reject the heat from liquid cooled servers, great for co-location data centers.

GIGABYTE Servers
We also showcased our latest upcoming AMD EPYC Rome servers, new 2nd gen. Intel Xeon Scalable servers as well as our ThunderX2 2U4node system and NVMe Over Fabric (NVMeOF) storage system. H262-Z60 and H242-Z10 are hyper-converged systems: each node supports single (H242-Z10) or dual (H262-Z60) AMD EPYC 2nd gen. processors with up to 64 cores / 128 threads per processor, making them both ideal for cloud computing, and H242-Z10 has a shorter chassis for edge computing where deployment space is limited. Meanwhile, G591-HS0 is a 5U high form factor server which supports dual Intel Xeon 2nd gen. processors and up to 36x NVIDIA single slot GPUs.

Student Cluster Competition (SCC)
GIGABYTE are honored to have 4 different student teams who have chosen GIGABYTE Server platforms as the base for their supercomputing cluster!
1. Tartu Team (The University of Tartu, Estonia)  
2. HPC Team RACKlette (ETH Zürich, Switzerland)  
3. National Cheng Kung University Team (Taiwan)
4. UPC Les Maduixes (Universitat Politecnica de Catalunya, Catalonia Spain)
And congratulations to HPC Team RACKlette who achieved a great result (1st place for LINPACK, 3rd place overall) in this competition.
