CELEBRATION DINNER!

Let's celebrate.....people doing wonderful things to promote regenerative agriculture, positive partnerships, our picturesque surrounds, our fabulous communities and hear from some fantastic speakers.

Central West Lachlan Landcare are hosting a Celebration Dinner on Friday, 6 April at Forbes Town Hall, From 6pm. Some of our local organisations will host displays in the Town Hall Concourse before dinner. Try some tastings, while you enjoy a refreshing beverage prior to dinner.

Speaking of dinner.....our caterers, Eat Your Greens, have a fabulous feast organised for us to compliment the fantastic speakers, followed by a Q & A. Our MC for the evening will be Mr Geoff Rice. More details on our speakers in the flier below.

Please note that dancing shoes are required! The New Normal will be entertaining us for the remainder of the evening.

A link for tickets will be distributed to our members and newsletter subscribers tomorrow (27/2) at 12pm and then they will be open to the general public on Wednesday (28/2) at 12pm.

SOIL HEALTH WORKSHOPS
with Dr Ash Martin
Central West Lachlan Landcare will be hosting two fantastic soil health workshops on 5 and 6 April 2018.
Dr Ash Martin from Australian Microbe Labs and Guy Webb from Agriwest will be providing practical information to increase your knowledge of the health of your soil and the steps that you can be taking to improve your outputs as a result of increasing soil health.
We are fortunate to have Tristan Steventon from Stevtech Precision Ag providing a drone presentation as part of the workshops.

Ash and Guy will also be two of our speakers at our Celebration Dinner.

Community Funding Program - Forbes

Forbes Shire Council is calling on all not-for-profit organisations, community and sporting groups to apply for Community Funding Program for the 2018-2019 financial year.

In alignment with the Forbes Shire Community Strategic Plan 2017 – 2027, all community funding will be allocated annually to fit in with the Council’s budget cycle.

Community Funding Program application forms can be collected from Council and copies will be distributed at the information night. Forms can also be downloaded from the Forbes Shire Council website, by following the quicklink on the left hand side. Forbes Shire Grant Funding page on Facebook also has a link to download the application form.

Applications will close on 28 February 2018. Find our more on the FSC website here.
