In order to make the transition to un-subsidised feed-in tariffs as smooth as possible for Scheme customers, the NSW Department of Industry, in collaboration with the Office of Environment and Heritage, with the support of local partners are hosting a series of Energy Opportunity Workshops.
At these sessions an independent energy expert will explain how the changes to the feed-in tariff will affect you, what you need to do in the lead up to the closure and the important steps you need to take to get the best out of your renewable energy system after the closure. The aim is to provide customers with a list of easy action steps to follow, relevant to your home or business location.
The sessions will cover a range of Clean Energy Opportunities for households and businesses, including: how to understand the different metering arrangements (i.e. gross and net) and the benefits; the emerging technologies to consider including battery storage and electricity monitoring devices; how to maintain your systems to maximise the benefits; and ways you can become more energy efficient to minimise your electricity bills. To view the venues, dates and times for these Workshops and to book your FREE seat please click Register.
And if you have questions you’d like to ask, bring them with you for the Q&A slot after the info session.
These sessions are impartial and independent, with factual information provided to help NSW residents about how to create energy opportunities in their home or business at scheme end.
The CWLL Re-balancing Our Landscape (ROL) Program offers landholder members the opportunity to benefit from discounts and freebies with the aim of increasing productivity in a sustainable way. Contact Marg for more information on 6862 4914 or email
