PAC Park funding success!
The Northparkes Mine are providing $3,000 funding to Central West Lachlan Landcare through their Community Investment Program to refurbish the Waterwise garden on the western end of PAC Park (via Welcome Street), which was established nearly 20 years ago and has fallen into disrepair.
Whilst we were undertaking work with the Landcare Motley Crew on the eastern end of PAC Park, we discussed working on the western end. Now we have the chance...and we would love you to join us.
Funding arrangements, plans etc are still to be finalised. We look forward to working with NPM and Parkes Shire Council to bring this area back to life.

There are also opportunities for you to take home a soil testing kit (conditions apply).
The workshop will be held on 23 July.

SEPTEMBER LANDCARE BUS TRIP
We will be holding a bus trip in September to review some of the mature projects that have been undertaken by groups over the past 20 years. Do you have a project that will fit the bill. We are keen to look at successes and failures (I won't judge). We all learn from the failures.

During the day, we are pleased to have a presentation from Tristan Steventon at Stevtech who will be talking to us about drones and crop health mapping and how this information can be used to improve decisions that you make on farm.

Please register your expression of interest now by contacting Marg on 02 6862 4914 or email cwllpo@hotmail.com
