Message from the Headteacher

I would like to pass on my thanks to the large number of parents who came to year 9 Parents’ Evening on Thursday. As always, the focus on was on students’ progress in lessons; with our ‘Life after Levels’ model now firmly embedded throughout Key Stage 3.

Impartial Careers Information Advice and Guidance

Since 2014 we have had a successful partnership with Jackie Hammond of Beacon East. She is in school on Mondays and Tuesdays each week and is available to all students to discuss careers and education next steps. Read more below to make an appointment.

Y11 Prom

The Year 11 Prom 2017 will take place on Friday 30th June at Park Farm Country Hotel, Hethersett. Please put the date in your diaries, further details to follow soon.

Thursday 2nd Feb:  Y9 vaccinations, 9-12 in the Common Room. Intermediate Maths Challenge, 9-12 in the Arc. A Level conference in Cambridge.
Friday 3rd Feb: Visit from Guildhall musicians. Amnesty International Quiz night, 7pm start in the Arc.

Fri 10th-Sat 18th Feb: Ski Trip to Austria

Amnesty Quiz

Friday 3rd Feb, 7pm start. Teams of up to 8. Please buy tickets from the finance office in advance or from a member of the Amnesty Group, adults £3.50, under 18s £2.50. There may be tickets on the door but this is not guaranteed. There is also a raffle.
