XSEDE Regional Workshop 

The RCC is proud to be hosting the XSEDE Regional Workshop at the FSU/FAMU College of Engineering (September 26 & 27). More than 100 faculty, students and researchers are attending the workshop to learn how to incorporate modeling and simulation, advanced data analysis and visualization and high performance computing into their teaching and research.

Big Data in the Big Blue
Dr. Steve Morey is no stranger to conducting large-scale research. Very large-scale. A physical oceanographer at the Center for Ocean and Atmospheric Prediction Studies, Morey has been able to generate ocean topography models, study how currents affect fisheries and explore effects of the Deepwater Horizon oil spill. Learn More »
