Ignite Collects International Awards
Ignite Receives Excellence Awards in Economic Development
Ignite Fredericton received two International Economic Development Council (IEDC) Excellence in Economic Development Awards -- Gold for the Fredericton Community Profile in the category of General Purpose Print Brochure; and Silver for Planet Hatch in the Entrepreneurship category.

The prestigious awards were presented at an awards ceremony on Tuesday, September 19th during the IEDC Annual Conference, which was held September 17-20th in Toronto, Ontario.  This was the first time Washington, DC based IEDC held their conference in Canada.

Michael Langley, IEDC Chair, commented, “On behalf of the IEDC Board of Directors and Excellence in Economic Development Awards Advisory Committee, congratulations to Ignite Fredericton. Also at IEDC, Ignite Fredericton collected four awards, taking into account North, South, Central Americas, from fDi Magazine's  'American Cities of the Future' (micro city category) in the following categories:

#1 Human Capital & Lifestyle
#5 Business Friendliness
#7 Overall
