Business Profile Series: Grimross Brewing Co.

Stephen Dixon, owner and operator of Grimross Brewing Co., specializes in brewing Belgian-type beers, which are classified by the strains of yeast used during the brewing process.

Dixon attributes his success to his product, “it's a high-quality product, and it has more flavour, as well as more variety. That's first and foremost. It's a good product, it tastes good.”

Racking Up the Awards

It was a big month for Fredericton's business community, winning not one, but eight awards! On October 5th, the city ranked 7th overall in the 2015/16 Top 10 Micro 'American Cities of the Future' by fDi Magazine (North, South & Central Americas). Fredericton also ranked in two sub categories, including 3rd in the category of Human Capital & Lifestyle behind Greenville, NC and Plattsburgh, NY and 4th in Business Friendliness.

On October 14th, the Fredericton Startup Community swept 5 of 9 awards at the Atlantic Startup Canada Awards in Halifax, NS. The community now advances to compete at the National Startup Canada Awards that will be announced in November.
