First of all, Happy New Year everybody! The SPLASh team hopes you all had a relaxing holiday season and are excited for the upcoming programs and events this month!
Upcoming Events 



January 7, 9am-12pm: SPLASh is partnering with Tampico Beverages for their Tampico Smiles Challenge! Volunteers can come to this cleanup to earn "Smile Points" and be entered for a chance to win a free trip to Hollywood, California. Learn more about the Tampico Smiles Challenge on their website and click here to register!


January 14, 9am-12pm: Join SPLASh for a cleanup at the Sufside wetlands off of Crab St! This habitat is critical for birds and other wildlife and we are looking forward to getting it ship-shape! SPLASh, Cradle of Texas Conservancy, Surfside Tourism, and Bird City Surfside have teamed up to make this a success. To learn more and register, click here. 


January 21, 9am-12pm: Join SPLASh for a cleanup at Bolivar's Frenchtown Road!  Saturday, January 21st from 9-12 pm!  The exact meeting location can be found here. To learn more and register, click here.

SPLASh has had a great year and we couldn't have done it without our amazing volunteers! We are excited to announce that January is Volunteer Appreciation month so we will be highlighting some of their amazing accomplishments.

SPLASh Beach Signage Challenge


Help protect Texas birds from marine debris and plastic pollution! SPLASh is accepting art submissions to educate the public on proper disposal and prevention of trash pollution along the Texas Gulf Coast. If chosen, your art will be featured on a sign posted along Texas shorelines!
