Let's get started!
I love the above photograph, I was in Morocco in 2012. I just could not resist taking a photo next to the camel crossing sign by the road! It was whimsical and unusual at the same time. How often do you come across a camel crossing sign on a roadway? I thought you might enjoy seeing it!

Family visitations!

Both my sisters decided to come for a visit earlier this month (part of the reason this e-newsletter is so late!) my house was still in a state of disarray. My kitchen remodel was not complete, the sink was not hooked up and the counter tops had yet to be installed! My contractor obliged by placing temporary countertops, but there was no way to install a sink. It is very hard to cook anything without a kitchen sink! Somehow, we managed and the visit was a success. My sisters enjoyed spending time with baby Nina, who was the darling at every gathering. We even succeeded in making mango chutney in a semi operational kitchen. After my sisters left my wonderful daughter Reina arrived with her two cocker spaniels and we have been busy with mother daughter excursions!

Your Feng Shui tip!

Your Feng Shui tip is in the box below.

The west coast is experiencing severe draught conditions, as I expected Los Angles, California has issued a ban on wasting water. People are not allowed to water their lawns, or wash their cars. Their slogan is "Brown is the new Green"! I love that! I wish people everywhere would limit their water usage before the situation becomes dire as it has in California now.

It's been wonderful to have Reina here, I enjoy being close to my son, his wife and my granddaughter, at the same time I miss seeing my daughter daily. My loss is Oklahoma's gain, sigh! She has promised me that she will spend her summers in the Pacific Northwest, I am going to hold her to that promise. I do wish we had portals through which we could instantly travel to other parts of the world, how wonderful that would be! For now, I will have to be content with summer visits with my lovely daughter.

I would love to hear from you, please share your summer excursions with me.
Enjoy the summer!

This is your Feng Shui tip, the best way to welcome Chi into your home is to have a welcoming entrance to your front door, even if you don't use your front door daily!
Another photo from Morocco, the Sahara desert in the background with a camel going for a stroll. Spending nights in the desert was my favorite part of the trip.
