Let's get started!
Field trip!

My friend Sharon and her lovely daughter Kim suggested we take a quick field trip to a tulip farm in a town called Woodburn. The Wooden Shoe tulip festival is held every year in the spring. The day we went was absolutely gorgeous, perfect weather and a sea of tulips greeted us. It felt as though we were in Holland. We stopped off and had a delicious Mexican lunch and enjoyed our time together getting caught up on each other's lives.

Television segments.

My latest television appearance has been uploaded, this time I talked about how to Feng Shui your entire house. Just click on the link and it will take you to my website.

Getting to see my siblings on a semi regular basis has been a joy in my life. I was in Vancouver yet again, this time spending time with my brother and his family. My wonderful sister in law made a sumptuous dinner for me. She makes excellent scones, my all time favorite thing to have with afternoon tea. I spent time with my niece and nephews and of course my sisters too. We knitted scarves and reminisced about how our mother was such a smart and creative woman. I could feel her presence in the house, approving of her three daughters!

Distant friends!

A few years ago I was stranded in Denver on my way to Vancouver, it was winter and often flights are delayed or cancelled. Elizabeth Mason and I were two such people who found ourselves on stand by. We got to the airport at six in the morning hoping to be on the next flight to the north. As luck would have it, we got the last two seats and they were in first class. So began our friendship, we have just communicated via e-mail since then. I saw Elizabeth again last month on my way home from Vancouver. She now lives in Bellingham, Washington. It amazes me that two strangers can meet on a fluke and have so much in common. I only wish she lived closer so that I could see her more often. We have pledged to see each other sooner rather than later.

Teaching Feng Shui at PCC!

I dipped my toe in the ocean of teaching again, what a thrill that was! I had wonderful students who enjoyed taking the class as much as I loved teaching it. It is so gratifying to have people who want to learn, it certainly makes my job easier! I will be teaching in the fall again, and will share my schedule with you later in the year.

Your recycle tip.

Your appliances, lamps and printers that remain plugged in when not in use cost you at least 10 cents a day. Unplug them and save some money and reduce your energy usage at the same time!

Life just meanders along, on the journey you meet people that are meant to come into your life for a myriad of reasons. I have enjoyed all of my friendships and the people I have met while teaching or my clients. We  touch each other's lives and leave an indelible mark on the soul. Not all encounters are pleasant and yet even from that we learn-- how not to do that again! Seeing Elizabeth again, was a true testament to the fact that strangers can be your soul friends, all you have to do is strike up a conversation! I hope that you have enriching relationships in your life. Family, friends and chance meetings are what make this life interesting. Please send me a hello and let me know what is new in your life.

Finally May flowers are here, enjoy!
