Whether or not your New Year's Resolutions involve workout goals, January will always be a great time to stock up on new workout clothes—and inherently some new motivation to hit the gym, the studio, or wherever you like to get your endorphins pumping and your mind cleared. To help you bring some of that feel-good energy into 2020, I've put together a few fun looks for your next workout. And if you want to join me in CorePower's Power Up Challenge, we can both look cute heading to class.

1. The Yoga Class.
For a light yoga workout, wrap yourself up in super-soft gear from WE/ME, Beyond Yoga, and Alo Yoga. When it comes to hot yoga or sculpt classes, stick to darker colors from Alo Yoga Airlift, Lululemon Align, or Zella—the only brands I've personally seen can conceal all your sweaty hard work. No matter how frizzy and frazzled you may be feeling after class, a few sleek accessories will pull you together for a post-workout errand or two.

2. The Spin Class.
Bring the energy to a spin or HIIT class with a fun, bold set. Don't be afraid to show off your personality with prints, patterns, or cut-outs from brands like Varley, The Upside, or Set Active. If you want to tame your statement-making style while going to and from the studio, add a simple puffer and solid beanie to balance it out.

|
3. The Running Session.
For the athletes in progress, breezy shorts, functional sports bras, and breathable layers will help you look the part when you set out for a run. Nike, Outdoor Voices, or Adidas are all reliable options, no matter your level of intensity or training.
|
|
4. The Boxing Class.
Break out the gear that makes you feel the most powerful (or: extra) for hard-hitting boxing or training sessions. Find sporty-chic styles from Adam Selman Sport, P.E. Nation, or Year of Ours, then throw on some cropped cover-ups that make a statement of their own.

|
5. The Hiking Adventure.
If the great outdoors are calling, keep things practical in a few cool colors and layers. Start with a base layer from recreational brands like Girlfriend Collective or Outdoor Voices, add a sweatshirt you can tie around your waist and a fleece or water-resistant puffer jacket depending on the elements your facing, then consider if you'll need a more substantial hiking boot or if your running shoes will do.
