While being a pregnant is a joyful occasion, it isn’t always rainbows and butterflies. It can be a stressful time and can take its toll on a person. Experiencing postpartum depression is normal and should be taken seriously. One in ten women experience postpartum depression. To learn more about postpartum depression, click here.

Join the multi-generational, pan-Asian women of The Genki Spark, an arts and advocacy organization, as we celebrate our 5th anniversary at our annual Making Women's History Event. Sat. March 19th 7PM, Sun. March 20th, 12PM. This year's family-friendly concert is filled with some of our favorite pieces as well as some brand new ones that feature taiko (Japanese drumming) and celebrate the diverse experiences of the women in our membership.

The Fellow will receive a monthly stipend and learn how to: identify and disseminate effective strategies for engaging local government in DHHS efforts to address childhood obesity and prevent heart attacks and strokes; and engage academic institutions to implement tobacco-free campuses.

Interns are responsible for assisting the staff on a wide range of Asian American and Pacific Islander (AAPI) issues and priorities. Interns will help write policy memos, assist with social media, coordinate events, and conduct outreach.
