The West Yorkshire Combined Authority would like to invite you to join us for a webinar on the UK Shared Prosperity Fund in West Yorkshire. The Government’s Levelling Up White Paper gave Mayoral Combined Authorities a mandate to consider how the UK Shared Prosperity Fund can best be used to help meet the regions strategic objectives.

Brighouse Centre Launch! - 8th April
Relate Cross Pennine are delighted to invite you to the official launch of the new counselling centre in Brighouse, West Yorkshire. From 11am our dedicated staff and Trustees will be providing a casual tour around the new premises, speaking to the community about what we will be providing and there will be drinks and a buffet. It is a great opportunity to meet, network and to celebrate the opening of this new centre.

West Yorkshire Health and Care Partnership’s: Adversity, Trauma and Resilience Second Annual Knowledge Exchange - 26th April  - 28th April
Following the successful launch last year, we have continued our ambition of working from preconception through to adulthood, to act early, build resilience, and reduce adversity and trauma for people living in West Yorkshire. This virtual event will bring partners together to explore progress to date, share evidence and best practice; and to launch our Adversity, Trauma and Resilience Strategy for ensuring West Yorkshire is a trauma informed and responsive system.

NSPCC Conference: How Safe 2022 - 11th - 12th May
The NSPCC annual conference is back for 2022. At this two-day conference, you’ll hear about the latest in safeguarding guidance and innovations to inform your work and empower you to play your part in protecting children from abuse.

William Birch & WY Police Social Value Hours 
Halifax Police Station is currently undergoing a full refurbishment to modernise the building. This work is being done by our procured contractor William Birch and Sons ltd. As part of the tender process, West Yorkshire Police requested that William Birch and Sons ltd provide an element of social value, so that our capital investment would also benefit our community. William Birch and Sons ltd offered to provide us with 200 person hours of resource that can be utilised in any way that benefits the community of our Calderdale district.

The Armed Forces Covenant Fund Trust: Announce Three New Funding Programmes Will Open in Spring and Summer 2022.  
All three programmes have a focus on providing targeted support for veterans, Armed Forces families and serving personnel.

We are out for recruitment, looking for an Engagement Officer to join our existing team. The opportunity is temporary to 31 March 2023 and applications will close at 11.55pm on 04 April 2022. 

Bradford Maze - Senior Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker - Closing 8th April 
As part of the Bradford Survive and Thrive contract; Staying Put, WomenCentre & Family Action are delivering a service to ensure families who have experienced domestic abuse & sexual violence receive the right support at the right time, to make them safe, sooner, and help promote recovery and healing. We are looking to recruit a Senior Domestic Abuse Prevention Worker who will be required to deliver one-to-one and group sessions with male and female perpetrators of domestic abuse in community-based venues across Bradford and District.
