Food Poverty Co - Ordinator - Closing 11th July
We would like to recruit a Co-ordinator who will work as part of a team to address Food Poverty. The post holder will respond to national and local challenges including any transport/import implications to the UK food distribution systems post Brexit, the increases in cost of living and fuel energy prices.
Quality and Engagement Project Support Worker - Closing 22nd July
The role of the Quality and Engagement Project Support Worker is central to the continued successful development and delivery of VAC contracted projects primarily across Kirklees and Calderdale. Reporting to the Quality & Engagement Team Lead, you will support the team to deliver the roll-out of the Quality 4 Health + Wellbeing accreditation across Calderdale and Kirklees and wider areas by providing a range of support to recruit and coordinate contract and income generating related activities with Voluntary and Community Sector Enterprise (VCSE) organisations.

The WYCA Your Views Survey - Closing 13th July
As well as questions on residents’ sense of safety, community cohesion, and the work of the police, this survey also collects new information on residents’ perception of ASB and drug misuse in their neighbourhood, as well as measuring concerns about women and girls’ safety of the first time.

Happy Valley Pride Announce 2022 Line-Up - 25th to 31st July
West Yorkshire’s week-long queer arts festival, Happy Valley Pride, has announced the 2022 line-up. Taking place from Monday 25 to Sunday 31 July, the festival includes cabaret, comedy, movies, music and more.
The organisers promise ‘something for everyone’. The full programme is now available online at www.happyvalleypride.co.uk.
Acas: Managing a Fair Disciplinary Procedure - 27th July & 25th August

This highly popular course is now running weekly, starting every Monday. It is a remote course where you will study from home, you will receive help and guidance from a tutor.

Launch of GambleAware’s Community Resilience Fund - Closing 13th July
Not-for-profit groups in England, Scotland and Wales can now apply for grants to address inequalities experienced by disadvantaged communities, particularly those who may be struggling with gambling harms in light of the current economic crisis. There is a £1 million funding pot, with grants of up to £100,000 available.
Funding to Support Long-Term Recovery from Gambling-Related Harms - Closing 15th August
A new grants programme to help those affected by gambling to rebuild and recover in Great Britain. The charity GambleAware has launched a new £2 million Aftercare Funding Programme which focuses on sustained, rather than immediate, recovery from gambling harms.
Funding to Support Tree Planting Projects Across the UK - Closing 16th December
Community-based organisations can apply for funding to support projects that promote, preserve, and protect trees, woodlands, and forests in local communities across the United Kingdom.
Funding to Support Blind and Partially Sighted People Across the UK - Closing 5th February
The Thomas Pocklington Trust is offering grants to registered charities to support projects and activities that deliver positive outcomes for blind and partially sighted people across the United Kingdom.
