Volunteer Development Officer - Closing 11th July

Food Poverty Co - Ordinator - Closing 11th July
We would like to recruit a Co-ordinator who will work as part of a team to address Food Poverty. The post holder will respond to national and local challenges including any transport/import implications to the UK food distribution systems post Brexit, the increases in cost of living and fuel energy prices.
Quality and Engagement Project Support Worker - Closing 22nd July
The role of the Quality and Engagement Project Support Worker is central to the continued successful development and delivery of VAC contracted projects primarily across Kirklees and Calderdale. Reporting to the Quality & Engagement Team Lead, you will support the team to deliver the roll-out of the Quality 4 Health + Wellbeing accreditation across Calderdale and Kirklees and wider areas by providing a range of support to recruit and coordinate contract and income generating related activities with Voluntary and Community Sector Enterprise (VCSE) organisations.

Volunteer to Present Games Medals
Alison will volunteer this summer at Birmingham Commonwealth Games. Local social entrepreneur has accepted a key role in Medals Ceremonies. Due to Alison’s complex disabilities she has a social services funded care team. This summers opportunity costs more than the care budget allows so to ensure that Alison can make the most of this opportunity she needs to raise approximately £1500 to fund her care team. Join ACDAF and Discuss Inclusive Commuting and Green Spaces Access
We have focus groups on Transport, countryside and green spaces, tourism and health and wellbeing. Members can be as involved as they choose but everyone has an equal voice to raise awareness of issues affecting their lives in regards to access and inclusion. PH Approaches to Changes in Cost of Living - Building Food Resilience

Aim: Present practical solutions to reduce the impact on health as a result of the cost of living increase. Explore the inequalities experienced and disproportionate impact on health outcomes due to food insecurity.

VocTech Seed Grant Fund - Closing 13th July
VocTech Seed Fund grants of £15,000 to £50,000 for projects using technology to transform how adults gain and maintain skills for work. Charities, trade bodies, existing learning providers and employers can apply. Will fund exploration of new approaches to using technology to enable adult skills development, specifically experimentation and scoping of early-stage ideas, including pilots, prototyping and planning for long-term success. The grants can be used to support a wide range of learners with particular interest in supporting sectors, locations, skills levels and individuals that have not been well served by mainstream provision.
Woodward Charitable Trust’s: Grants Up to £3,000, Towards Core Funding for Smaller Registered Charities - 19th July
Woodward Charitable Trust’s: grants up to £3,000, towards core funding for smaller registered charities (annual turnover less than £20,000) working with: Children and young people who are isolated, at risk of exclusion or involved in antisocial activities; Disadvantaged families including: parenting support and guidance, mental health, food poverty, refugees and domestic violence projects and projects that benefit travellers, ethnic minorities and refugee families; Prisoners and ex-offenders and specifically projects that maintain and develop contact with prisoners' families and help with the rehabilitation and resettlement of prisoners and/or ex-offenders after their release.
Money Saving Expert (MSE) Charity grants - Closing 22nd July
In response to the Cost of Living Crisis, the usual September grant round is being brought forward to earlier in the summer. The theme for this round is 'Developing Resilience' and will focus on supporting organisations who provide urgent money guidance and emergency debt help.
LLoyds Bank Foundation: Reaching Further - Closing 29th July
We will be accepting new applications from eligible small and local charities. We encourage all eligible charities to apply for an unrestricted £50,000 grant by the closing date.
Asda Foundation: Foundation Grants - Closing 19th August
ASDA Foundation Empowering Local Communities and U18’s Better Start grants of £500 to £1,500 supports a broad range of activities which contribute towards transforming communities and improving lives.
