  • INZEB participating at the Information Day of UPWOOD project

INZEB, will participate in the Information Day of the EU project "UPWOOD – Up-skilling construction workers in wood construction methods for energy efficient buildings", organised by EXELIA, on Wednesday March 15th 2022, at 14.00-17.30 CET. Alice Corovessi, Managing Director, INZEB will be among the speakers, presenting the revision of the EPBD as well as its impact on the national policies of the Member States. Learn more here!
  • INZEB at REE Community of Practice Online Workshop

INZEB has participated in the two-day workshop “Residential Energy Efficiency (REE) Community of Practice”, organised by Habitat for Humanity International, on the 2nd and 3rd of March 2022, at 9.30 CET, which was held online.
Alice Corovessi participated presenting Building Renovation Passports, in the framework of iBRoad and iBRoad2EPC projects on the first day of the workshop and survey results of energy poverty phenomenon in Greece, on the second.
  • INZEB at WENERCON 2022

Alice Corovessi,  participated in the 1st day of WENERCON 2022, that took place in Tunisia from 22 to 25 February 2022, presenting the evolution of energy communities in the EU and the role of citizens towards a decarbonised world. Learn more here!
  • “Tackling Energy Poverty, Energy Savings and the role of Municipalities”

The online discussion organised by the Municipal Party Movement “Citizens in Action of Chaidari”, took place on Monday January 24th 2022. 
Alice Corovessi, Managing Director of INZEB and as a member of the H2020 POWEPOOR consortium, was among the speakers of the discussion and presented the role and the tools of the POWERPOOR project and how these can contribute to tackling energy poverty and the benefits of being engaged in an Energy Community. POWERPOOR Energy Supporters and Mentors network, INZEB


INZEB has reached the KPI (Key Performance Indicator), certifying 100 Energy Supporters and Mentors in the framework of the H2020 POWERPOOR project, who aspire to alleviate energy poverty in local and national level. The certified Energy Supporters and Mentors network, cover a large part of Greece, coming from rural, island and urban areas.

The 2nd POWERPOOR Liaison Group Meeting in Greece


The 2nd POWERPOOR Stakeholer Liaison Group Meeting (SLGM) in Greece is already set, and will be held online on 17 March 2022 aiming to discuss the developments of the POWERPOOR project. 
In this framework, stakeholders from various sectors will gather together to work on solutions and activities towards tackling energy poverty.

Energy Poverty Guidebook for energy planning


Energy Poverty Guidebook for energy planning developed under POWERPOOR, is now available online in English and will be soon available in all pilot languages. 
The Guidebook aims at informing stakeholders ranging from municipalities and decision makers to interested individuals, on how they can follow the proposed bottom-up collaborative approach in alleviating energy poverty through joint energy initiatives, leveraging innovative financing schemes and enhancing the local energy planning to that direction.

SMAFIN 3rd Working Group Meeting in Greece


The 3rd Working Group (WG) Meeting in Greece is scheduled for Thursday, March 3, 2022 and will be held online.
The aim of the regurly scheduled WG meetings is to gather the stakeholders of SMAFIN project and discuss project developments, smart financing and energy efficiency related developments at national and EU level as well as to explore the key topics and issues to be raised during the next (2nd) SMAFIN National Roundtable, which is scheduled for mid-April. The exact date of the 2nd National Roundtable in Greece, will be soon available.

SMAFIN GLOSSARY is a new series of posts, recently launched on SMAFIN social media accounts, aiming to inform and trigger the attention of interested individuals, on energy efficiency/energy-related terms and abbreviations that are oftenly used but still unknown to the general public. It is observed that more and more people are getting interested in the energy field.

SMAFIN - TRIPLE-A online event

The H2020 projects, SMAFIN and Triple-A, jointly organised the online event "Increasing Energy Efficiency Investment Rates in Greece: From Theory to Practice", in Nov. 25th 2021. Energy Transition: The role of local energy communities and the models of local energy ownership - Online Workshop


The “Energy Transition: The role of local energy communities and the models of local energy ownership” online workshop was held on Wednesday 2 February 2022 and was organised by EnEffect (BG), SEVEN (CZ), and INZEB (GR), within the frame of CONGREGATE project.
The aim of the workshop was to discuss why community energy, both in terms of energy efficiency and energy production from renewable sources, is considered to be among the key elements supporting the journey towards a decarbonised EU economy.
