Klingner
Architectural Group Enhances Another
Historic Building

25% State Historic Tax Credit Applied

Cindy Larson, Architect, of Klingner Architectural Group, designed a major reroofing project at the historic River Park Place building in Burlington.

The roof is a clay tile roof installed c. 1927.  The rehab will involve lifting and relaying existing tile, replacing damaged tile, repairing sheathing and soffits, and replacing copper roofs, gutter liner, and downspouts as well as restoring historically significant windows in the attic.

Cindy prepared the necessary documentation to take advantage of a 25% state historic tax credit which has many requirements.  Her incredible work resulted in one of the highest ranking scores for the tax credit on a project of this size.  The scaffold erection is completed and roof work is currently in progress.  The entire project should be complete by Thanksgiving 2015.
