A Thank You Soirée
Arts Upper Hunter is holding a Thank You Soirée for all members of Upper Hunter arts and cultural groups. Come along for some great entertainment, nibbles and catch up with friends.

Navigating Social Media for Visual Artists
Well known Hunter Valley artist Rebecca Rath will be running a workshop at Singleton Library on Saturday November 12 for visual artists interested in developing their use of social media. The workshop will focus on Instagram. Read more....

Didier Colstoun

Didier is a visual artist from the Upper Hunter, concentrating on sculpture (using metal, bronze, wood, stone), photography, painting, drawing, mosaics, printmaking, pattern making and digital media.

Didier was born and grew up in France where his  grandfather taught him to draw as a child. Read more....

Grants, Prizes and Opportunities
Community War Memorial Fund - applications close 11 November.
The Community War Memorial Fund supports projects that conserve and protect existing war memorials. The fund has previously supported a range of war memorials, including statues, memorial gates, honour rolls and memorial halls. Grants up to $10,000 available. Read more....

Australian Artists' Grant - applications close 12 November.
This NAVA grant is available to assist professional visual and media arts, craft and design practitioners who are Australian citizens or permanent residents to produce, present and promote their work. Read more....

Museums & Galleries - Skills Development Grants - applications close 15 November (or until funds are exhausted).
Skills Development Grants provide funding to volunteer museums, museum networks and keeping places for regional or state focused skill development training and networking events. Grants up to $4,000. Read more....

Australian Tapestry Workshop - 2017 Artist in Residence Program - applications close 25 November 2016.
Artists can attend for minimum of 2 to a maximum of 8 weeks, full or part-time. Artists working in any medium and at any stage of their career can undertake a residency. Read more....
