APQO Conference coming next month!
20-23 November, Energy Events Centre, Rotorua
I would like to remind you to participate in our conference by ensuring a delegation of attendees or as an exhibitor.
Although we have a good number of sponsors and exhibitors there are still great opportunities to be involved.
A good sponsor example is the branded conference memory stick which will still have brand value into 2017. Another is sponsoring a speaker or exhibiting your organisation.
This event is a significant international conference with assured attendance from most of the APEC countries. In particular, this includes China, USA and Australia.
Collaboration to assist NZOQ to host has come from quality organisations in those countries, many of whom will present keynote speakers.
From the USA, we have the President of American Society for Quality, From Australia the President of the Australian Organisation for Quality and from China the Counsellor of the State Council for Research and Strategic Consulting of National Policies of Quality Development.
The APQO conference was last hosted in New Zealand in 1991 and is rarely seen below the equator. Last year, it was in Shanghai and next year it is to be in Manila. In 2018, it will be in Beijing.
NZOQ is a core sustaining founder member of APQO.
APQO 2016 in Rotorua is proving to be an excellent opportunity to present 'NZ Inc' to a diverse range of international participants.
At this point, we have over 300 registrations of attendance from 20 nations, 30 international keynote speakers, more than 50 abstract presentations and several international quality award ceremonies.
The Australian Organisation for Quality (AOQ) and the New Zealand Business Excellence Foundation (NZBEF) are assisting NZOQ in this event.
Hosted this year by NZOQ in New Zealand, this is one of the world’s major quality and business excellence events.
You will now be aware that a very recent major move in New Zealand is the joining of NZOQ and NZBEF – they approached us and we have now taken them into one quality body.
This will lead to a New Zealand quality organisation with better representation, added attributes in Business Excellence with Baldrige now under the auspices of a singular NZOQ Board.
I hope you can ensure good participation!
I thank you if you're already registered.
