Latest News

Welcome to 2015.  The year has started with a rush and the Xmas holidays seem a distant memory already!  For me I’m confident 2015 will be a year of opportunities and growth, with a clear focus on the future.  The Foundation faced some challenging  times last year as we worked to clearly define what it is we do and what we offer our members.   Whilst there was a vision for the organisation we needed to ask ourselves how we could deliver it given our structure and resources – both people-wise and financially.

To that end we have gone back to basics – we are firmly and proudly a membership organisation providing a range of services to support our members on their organisational excellence journey.  We are not consultants – we provide advice and support, plus training, knowledge and collaboration.  Not to mention of course our evaluation and Awards process which is second to none in New Zealand.

I’ve worked with a number of membership organisations over the past few years and their strength comes from working in partnership with its members.  After all without them we don’t exist.  We now have some new energy in the organisation and some fresh thinking.  That doesn’t mean what we did was broken – it’s just an acknowledgement that we could do some things better and we definitely need to do more of it.  We are therefore looking to add more value to our members in whatever form you need, and to grow our membership so that the collaborative network becomes bigger and stronger.

We look forward to sharing a successful 2015 with you all.

Regards

Fiona

Time for a refresh

We at NZBEF have been working hard to redevelop and refresh our website and knowledge base. Our refreshed site is due to be released in the coming days and we hope that you enjoy what we have done. The rework was a major undertaking and while we have a few more updates to release, the lions share is complete.

With the release of a new platform, this also has provided us with an opportunity to review Knowledge Base content - this itself has been a valuable exercise and we are still progressively updating and cataloguing documents.

We will be transferring all member login details to the new site - if you find that you can not login, please contact us and we will be able to reset you login details. We welcome any suggestions or requests you may have - please email these to info@nzbef.org.nz
